The yard fence that won’t sag in five years and won’t rust in ten. Same frost-depth and hot-dipped standards we use on commercial sites — just sized for your back yard.
Pick the height that fits the use, the finish that fits the property.
The classic yard fence — pet containment, lot line, garden boundary. Hot-dipped galvanized mesh on heavy-gauge framework.
Privacy-adjacent height for back yards. Tall enough to discourage hop-overs, short enough to keep sight lines.
PVC-coated mesh and posts in black, green, or brown. Disappears against landscape — the right call for nicer back yards.
Vertical PVC privacy slats woven into chain-link mesh. Adds visual screen without going to a full wood or vinyl wall.
Bottom tension wire pulled tight to grade so dogs don't dig out and rabbits don't squeeze in.
Matching swing gates — single 4 ft pedestrian, double 10-12 ft drive gate. Self-closing and lockable.
We don’t install the box-store fence kit. Same materials and method as our commercial yards — just scaled to a residential lot.
S Tier builds the whole perimeter, not just the fence. Fewer trades on site, one number to call when something needs attention.
Chain link is priced per linear foot installed, on steel posts set to frost depth. Height, black vinyl coating, privacy slats and the number of gates are what move the price. Build & Price gives you a line-item estimate from your own lot drawing in minutes; a site walk confirms it.
Galvanized is the budget choice and lasts decades. Black vinyl-coated mesh and framework costs more but disappears visually against trees and yards and doesn't show scratches. Both use the same posts and footings.
Below frost. Terminal and gate posts are concrete-set 4 ft or deeper depending on soil; line posts are driven or set to match. That's why our fences are still plumb after ten springs.
Generally not for a fence up to 6 ft in a rear or side yard, but front-yard and corner-lot height limits apply and some neighbourhoods have restrictive covenants. We confirm the rules for your address as part of the quote.
A typical city lot is one to two days on site once materials are in, usually within two to three weeks of a signed quote in season.
